Solidarity with Rail workers in France and the 14th of May Strike under the theme NO TRAIN DAY.
On behalf of the European Regional Office of WFTU organizations we express our class solidarity and wish success to the strike of rail workers in France on the 14th of May against the anti-labour policies and privatisations of public services promoted by Emmanuel Macron, in particular of railways.
It is crucial that in each country of Europe the class labour movement and the working class intensify the class struggles against the anti labour policies of Governments and the European Union. These antidemocratic policies aim to undermine workers and peoples’ rights, freedoms and interests and they are leading the peoples to impoverishment.
We salute the struggle of the French workers, their courage and steadfastness against the harsh policies that Emmanuel Macron and the European Union want to impose on them by force.
We appeal to all trade unions to express solidarity in any form (protest meetings in front of the French embassies, solidarity messages, meetings, etc.)
