Today, on the June 4th, the WFTU informal Presidential Council and friends meeting took place in Geneva, Switzerland, in the framework of the 107th ILC.
In this context and with the presence of the WFTU President and General Secretary, our big trade union family decided to honor the historical Cuban cadre of the WFTU, Ramon Cardona for his contribution to the international class trade union movement.
During the event, in a spirit of internationalism, a commemorative plaque was delivered to R. Cardona who served many years as WFTU Representative in the Americas region.
